I did not see the snake and accidentally stepped on it. I didn’t even know what had happened because
I was wearing my lucky boots plus 2 pairs of socks.
Sidewinder adder snakes are venomous and live in the
sand. My boots saved my life. I still have my lucky boots with the fangs still
stuck in them to remind me that tomorrow is promised to no one.
